✨ Why I Love Disney: A Travel Advisor’s Story ✨
There’s something about walking down Main Street, U.S.A., that feels like coming home. The smell of popcorn and candy in the air, the distant whistle of the railroad, the first glimpse of the castle sparkling in the sun—it all brings back that rush of excitement no matter how many times I visit.
People often ask me why I love Disney so much. The answer is simple: Disney isn’t just a destination. It’s an experience that makes you feel like the best version of yourself—curious, joyful, and fully present in the moment. Whether you’re five, fifty-five or seventy-five, there is a kind of magic here that stays with you long after you leave.
My own Disney story started when I was just a kid myself because Disney has been a travel spot for my family for as long as I can remember. Each trip showed me how the parks can bring people together in a way that few places do. Over the years, I’ve returned again and again—sometimes with family, sometimes with friends, sometimes to celebrate a milestone, and sometimes just because I needed a little extra magic in my life.
One of the things I love most about Disney is how it constantly evolves. There’s always something new to discover—whether it’s a brand-new ride, an unforgettable festival, or a resort you haven’t explored yet. But at the same time, so much of it feels timeless. The parades, the music, the attention to detail—it all comes together to create an experience that feels familiar and fresh all at once. This to me is the biggest difference between Disney and Universal (but don’t worry, I love Universal as well, and there will be plenty of posts on that as well!).
Today, as a travel advisor, I’m honored to help other people discover their own Disney stories. Because planning a Disney vacation has become more complex over the years - Genie+, virtual queues, dining plans and new Disney hotels—it can feel overwhelming if you’re trying to figure it all out on your own. My goal is to take the stress out of the process so you can focus on the fun.
That’s why I created The Disney Dispatch, my new blog series that will arrive here every other Friday. I’ll be sharing:
Planning tips to save you time and money
Dining guides and resort spotlights
Seasonal event highlights
Insider tricks to make your trip extra special
Whether you’re dreaming of your very first visit or you’re a lifelong Disney fan like me, I can’t wait to help you plan a vacation you’ll never forget.
✨ Here’s to making more magical memories together. ✨
